SAT:- the full form of SAT Is the Scholastic Aptitude Test
Students applying for undergraduate admission to universities must take the SAT, a standardized test offered by the College Board. Previously known as the Scholastic Aptitude Test, the Scholastic Assessment Test is sometimes referred to as the SAT.

Usually, high school students take SAT exam to be admitted to Undergraduate programs (UG) abroad. United States universities accept SAT and ACT scores to give admission in UG programs to students who completed their high schooling.

Canceling your SAT Registration is an expensive affair, and students are always advised to go for a date change rather than cancelling the exam entirely.

The SAT is divided into 2 sections, Reading, writing and Mathematics. These two sections are scored on a 200 -800 point scale, for a maximum total score of 1600.

What is an Acceptable SAT Score for Colleges?
SAT score range for a college, An average SAT score is around 1000. Anything above 1200 is considered a good SAT score. The maximum anyone can score in SAT exam is the perfect score of 1600. Since you receive scaled scores.
For Ivy League Colleges a score of 1400 or more can be considered good. For a mid Level University anything between 1200 – 1400 can also work.
